Man oh man oh man oh man. What a night. Great teams – newbies and veterans alike – great beer, great company, startlingly excellent question set and you! Tremendous amounts of fun, but it seems obvious to us here at PubGuys that you don't really know/remember your classic literature.
"It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen."?
The above quote is not from Genesis . The above quote is not from The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 1) . But, both of those were good guesses…no, really. That quote comes from none other than George Orwell's 1984.
First game was pretty much a runaway for your friends and our William Shantnerface while Loyalty Thugs owned the second game. Congrats to both teams. We're Not Dead Yet put up a decent fight and took home second place in the first game pretty handily while in the second game it game down to a tie-breaker but ultimately Willian Shatnerface won…again.
That tie-breaking question? You say you want to know what the question was? Here you go:
How many tweets were generated during and about the 2013 Super Bowl?

See you all on the 7th for some more spine-tingling, bone-rattling trivia fun.
